Dorotheos Antoniadis born in 1956 in village Terpilos of Kilkis.He studied for five years hagiography and painting near the teacher Xristofanis Voutsinas in Thessaloniki.Since 1980, he maintains his own studio in the city of Kilkis, where he is professionally active in the iconography of portable icons and wall paintings.At the same time, he is engaged in painting old mansions and city landscapes, as well as portraits of famous and everyday people.The main materials he uses in his works are temperas, oil, acrylics and ink.He is also a member of the Association of Visual Arts Artists of Northern Greece.
His first exhibition was held in 1996 in collaboration with the artist Antonis Tsolakidis, in Texni Kilkis under the title “Common Ground”.Since then, he has participated in many individual and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, as well as in art magazines and competitions.
